After returning as the leader of Neo Zeon in U.C. 0093, Char Aznable commissioned the development of a mobile suit tailored to his elite piloting skills and Newtype abilities. The result was the MSN-04 Sazabi, constructed by a Luna-based manufacturer. Standing at 25.6 meters, it towers over standard mobile suits, yet remains highly agile thanks to lightweight armor and an array of powerful thrusters.
The Sazabi is armed with a scattering mega particle cannon mounted in the abdomen, a beam shot rifle, dual beam sabers stored in the forearms, a shield equipped with three missiles, and a beam tomahawk. As a Newtype-use unit, it features six remote-controlled funnels operated via psycowaves through a Psycommu system.
Notably, the Sazabi was the first mobile suit to incorporate the Psycho-Frame cockpit—a breakthrough technology embedding microscopic psycommu receiver circuits throughout the frame and cockpit walls. This system amplifies the pilot’s mental signals, allowing the suit to respond instantly to thought-based commands.
