Gundam Biography
The Z’Gok (Morgenröte Custom) is a multi-environment mobile suit developed by Morgenröte, inspired by ZAFT’s amphibious combat units. Although not officially produced by ZAFT, it retains the ZGMF model designation, reflecting its technical lineage and design influence. Built for aquatic warfare, the Z’Gok is equally capable of operating on land and in space, making it one of the most versatile amphibious mobile suits in the Cosmic Era timeline of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.
Engineered for balanced ranged and melee combat, the Z’Gok features a formidable built-in weapons array:
Arm-mounted Ion Cannons for mid- to long-range engagements
Head-mounted Surface-to-Air Missiles for anti-air and mobile suit interception
Heated Arm Claws for devastating close-quarters combat
These super-heated claws were used effectively by Athrun Zala, showcasing the unit’s lethality in melee encounters.
The Z’Gok is typically equipped with the M2X32E Volantes Lifter, a high-mobility backpack system mounted on its rear. This lifter enhances flight capability, acceleration, and overall combat flexibility, while also expanding the unit’s weapons support options.
